Ostrozac, early Iron Age hill forts, medieval fortress and the Turkish city. The fortress is situated on a dominant hill above the left bank of the river Una and the eponymous village, 12 km away from Bihac. The first mention of the fortress is from 1286. The fortress was owned by the counts Babonic-Blagajski (princes of Ostrog). It felt into the hands of the Ottomans in 1577. Ottomans rebuilt the fort in the southern part of about 1700. There were 28 cannons in 1833. During World War II, Ostrozac at one time was the seat of the Supreme Headquarters of National Liberation.
